Armenian ‘Hayasat-1’ satellite to be launched today

Armenian ‘Hayasat-1’ satellite to be launched today

Tonight, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the first
satellite, developed by Armenian specialists. The satellite is called
‘Hayasat-1’. The launch will be broadcast live at 9:00 p.m. local
time.

The launch had initially been scheduled for Nov. 29, but was
postponed for two days.

To remind, the “Hayasat-1” satellite was built by the
Bazoomq Space Research Lab and the Scientific Innovation and Education Center.
The note on the satellite reads ‘ARMENIA IN SPACE FOR SCIENCE’.

If the satellite testing proves successful in the harsh
conditions of space, it can be used both for domestic and foreign satellites in
the future.
