French Senate to discuss resolution on supporting Armenia’s territorial integrity
One of the resolutions to be discussed in the French Senate on Jan. 17 will be on Armenia and the Armenians of Artsakh.
A group of members of the Senate, namely Bruno Retailleau, Gilbert-Luc Devinaz and others, under Article 34-1 of the French Constitution, propose a resolution aimed at condemning the military attack of Azerbaijan against Artsakh, preventing further attempts of aggression and violation of the territorial integrity of Armenia.
The resolution will call for sanctions against Azerbaijan and “requires that security guarantees be provided to the Armenian population that has the right to return to Artsakh”.
