7 people killed in explosions on Iranian-Pakistani border
Seven people were killed in the explosions near Saravan County in Sistan and Baluchestan Province of Iran, Tasnim News Agency reports, quoting the deputy governor of the province.
According to the deputy governor, three women and four children were killed in the explosion. They were all Iranian citizens.
It was also reported that several explosions took place in one of the border villages of Saravan County at around 4:30 a.m. local time. As noted, another explosion occurred not far from the city of Saravan. No one was injured as a result.
Earlier, news came in about explosions in several regions of Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, bordering Pakistan. Later, the press service of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that strikes were made into the territory of Iran, saying that their targets were “terrorist hideouts”.
