Aghasyan takes silver in ranking tournament 

Levon Aghasyan, the leading jumper of the Armenian athletics team, won a silver at the 2024 International Athletics Tournament: Olga Rypakova Prizes.

In the tournament held in Kazakhstan on Jan. 20, the athlete from Kapan jumped 16.26m, thus finishing second. More than 70 athletes from eight countries took part in the competition.

The annual tournament, held since 2015, is licensed and was granted World Continental Tour Bronze status. Besides, it is a qualifier for the Olympics.
