Jeyhun Bayramov: Armenia must take necessary steps to sign peace agreement

Azerbaijan “has fully restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty, bringing the conflict to an end“.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made the remarks today while addressing the 13th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Ankara.

The Azerbaijani foreign minister recalled that “the text of the peace agreement, prepared on the basis of principles proposed by Azerbaijan, was initialled last year.”

Bayramov stressed “the importance of Armenia taking the necessary political and legal steps to sign the agreement.”

He also noted that the development of the Middle Corridor, the implementation of the so-called “Zangezur Corridor,” the expansion of transport links, mutual investments and joint projects create new opportunities for cooperation in trade and industry.
