Lars road closed for trucks

The RA MIA Rescue Service reports there is an impassable
highway in the RA territory.

The highway from high-mountain weather station Amberd in
Aragatsotn Province to Lake Kari is closed.

As reported by the Emergency Management Agency of the
Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the
Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars
highway is closed only for trucks.

Drivers are recommended to switch to winter tires.
