Chile forest fires death toll reaches 131

The death toll from the forest fires in Chile has risen to 131, and more than 300 people are still unaccounted for, The Guardian reports.

The authorities have not excluded the possibility that some of the fires could have been caused intentionally.

Valparaíso Region is the area that has been mostly affected. President of Chile Gabriel Boric arrived there and promised to provide financial aid.
