The EU has given Kyiv a DOK-ING MV-10 mine-clearing system within the framework of the special aid program, the press service of the European External Action Service (EEAS) reports.
During Josep Borrell’s latest visit to Ukraine on Feb. 6-7, the State Special Transport Service of Ukraine received a piece of equipment. “We are honored to make the work of Ukrainian de-miners safer and more efficient with this European equipment,” he said.
At the EU-Ukraine Summit of February 2023, Brussels announced its decision to allocate EUR 25 million package for humanitarian demining in Ukraine. In addition to the supply of special equipment, the package is also designed to train Ukrainian specialists.
