U.S. President Joe Biden made an X post, criticizing former U.S. President Donald Trump for his statement that he would encourage Russia to attack NATO countries that fail to meet their financial obligations as part of the alliance.
“You want to know why Ukraine is important? Because as you can see, Putin and his useful lackeys have their eyes on bigger prizes,” Biden wrote.
In the comment section, users criticized Biden for his statement and called on him to take care not of Ukraine, but of the United States, not to disgrace himself by making such statements, and to resign.
Earlier, Trump said that, as a president, he will not allow aid to NATO countries if they fail to pay their bills.
In an interview to Carlson, Putin explained in detail that Moscow does not intend to attack NATO members, particularly Poland, Latvia or other Baltic states, while politicians in the West continuously scare their peoples with the Russian threat, diverting attention from domestic issues.
