A cargo ship collided with a road bridge and destroyed part of it in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China, TASS reports, citing the Maritime Search and Rescue Center of the city.
The incident took place in Nansha District. For unknown reasons, the ship crashed into the bridge.
According to the Maritime Search and Rescue Center, five cars were damaged in the incident: two fell into the water, and three others landed on the ship. Two people are reported dead, three others are unaccounted for.
