Zelenskyy: A new Minsk agreement will not be signed; we do not believe in frozen conflicts

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he does not want to sign new Minsk-like agreements. He said this in an interview to Fox News.

“We do not want to repeat the Minsk agreements on another part of our territory; we do not believe in newly frozen conflicts,” he said.

According to him, the “security” of Ukraine is on the table.

Zelenskyy also rejected former U.S. President Donald Trump’s idea that the conflict over Ukraine can be settled in 24–48 hours.

In addition, Zelenskyy noted that Kyiv had not received an official proposal to cede part of its territories in exchange for EU and NATO membership.

“No one officially made such proposals to us; we heard such things only through the media,” he said.
