Today, Nov. 18, the autumn meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary
Assembly (OSCE PA) opens in Yerevan. It will be held in the Karen Demirchyan
Sports and Concerts Complex. At the moment, final preparations for the meeting
are underway.
Within the meeting, a conference will be held under the
theme “OSCE in Times of Crisis: Role of the PA in Responding to Internal and
External Challenges”. Issues related to the OSCE role in fighting corruption
and protecting minorities will also be on the agenda for the meeting.
Three hundred delegates from around 50 countries have
arrived in Armenia to attend the meeting.
Bilateral meetings are planned within the OSCE PA autumn
meeting as well.
To remind, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Russia will not attend the
meeting.
