Polish farmers restrict Ukrainian bus entry into country
Polish farmers have stopped the movement of passenger buses at the Jahodin-Dorohusk border crossing on the border with Ukraine, the Ukrainian Strana newspaper reports.
As noted, the movement of buses both from Ukraine to Poland and in the opposite direction has been stopped.
The nationwide protest of farmers started on Feb. 9. Polish farmers are holding protests across the country, blocking roads and border crossings with Ukraine.
Unknown persons have dumped grain from Ukrainian trucks and railway wagons several times. The main demands of the protesters are to stop the import of agricultural products from Ukraine to Poland and to abandon the environmental programs of the EU, which plan to reduce the levels of atmospheric emissions to zero by 2050.
