Earthquake happens near Istanbul
An earthquake, measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale, occurred in Turkey’s Yalova Province, about 50 kilometers from Istanbul. There have been no reports of damage, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey (AFAD) reports.
The earthquake happened around 9:21 a.m. local time. The epicenter was located in the Sea of Marmara at a depth of nine kilometers.
