Doctors on Netanyahu’s health condition
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu became conscious after a successful hernia operation and is conversing with family members, Reuters writes, quoting the hospital, treating the official.
The hospital did not specify how long the period of convalescence is going to last.
Earlier, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced that Netanyahu would undergo an operation, and on account of that the prime minister’s post would be temporarily held by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice Yariv Levin.
According to the office, Netanyahu was diagnosed with a hernia during a routine examination on March 30. Hours before being placed under anesthesia, Netanyahu said he intended to return to work “very soon”.
