US State Department calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to refrain from aggressive action that could lead to escalation

The U.S. calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to refrain from aggressive rhetoric and actions that could escalate the situation. Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller said this.

“We caution and will continue to caution against escalating rhetoric or hostilities along the border. We continue to encourage the creation of conditions for a just and dignified peace in the region, where the rights of all are respected,” Miller said.
