Russia sends 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan

Russia has sent about 40 tons of humanitarian aid to
Afghanistan to help the population affected by the earthquake in Herat. The aid
was sent in two special aircraft belonging to the Ministry of Defense.

“Russia continues to provide humanitarian aid to the
friendly Afghan people, who have suffered from the recent devastating
earthquake in Herat,” the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
