As promised, the Islamic Republic of Iran retaliated against the attack on its consulate in Damascus. Hundreds of drones, cruise and ballistic missiles appeared in the territory of Israel overnight. As CNN reports, the largest number of drones in history were used in the Iranian attack. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said this is in retaliation for the missile attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, as well as for the genocidal actions of the Zionist regime in the occupied territories of Palestine. Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei said that Israel would be punished.
