Russia and Armenia are still allies, and not only by law. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this in an interview with Radio Sputnik, Komsomolskaya Pravda and Govorit Moskva.
“After all, we are allies with Armenia. We still consider ourselves allies. We are allies by law. And I think, not only by law: There are people there who understand the importance of Russia for Armenia’s security and economic development,” Lavrov said.
