The conflict in Ukraine will end in two weeks if Kyiv remains without aid from the West, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell said.
“I know how the war in Ukraine can be put to an end. It can be done within a few weeks if the arms supply is stopped. Thus, Ukraine will not be able to resist and will have to surrender,” Borrell noted.
He also asked a rhetorical question: “Do they want that in Europe?” He noted that he does not want such a result, and many people in Europe do not want it either. Borrell added that disagreements in the U.S. over the provision of aid to Kyiv and a six-month delay in supplies could turn the state of affairs from victory to defeat.
