
Victory parade starts in Moscow’s Red Square
The grand military parade in honor of the 79th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War started in Moscow’s Red Square, Izvestiya reports.
There are more than 9,000 people, over 70 pieces of military equipment, and two aviation groups at the parade.
The parade is attended by leaders of a number of countries, including President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel, President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
