Disrespect to one’s own people: Archbishop Bagrat on “policing” Opera building

“He left the Opera building in a way that no one would notice him. This means that you are not powerless. Let’s make it clear that the deceiver has no right to act freely; moreover, to represent our interests in the world. It should be like this everywhere,” Archbishop Bagrat said.

Speaking about the police, he noted that they have been made into tools with drained souls.

“We should only feel sorry for them and pray that they might be saved and be back on the rails,” Archbishop Bagrat said.

The primate of the Diocese of Tavush also noted that there have been thousands of similar and more important events in the country, but there has never been such a police presence.

“Don’t give people hatred, otherwise we will lose each other. We must become a country of genuine people with hearts,” Archbishop Bagrat noted.
