Ayatollah Ale-Hashem was alive within hour after helicopter crash and came into contact; All victims’ bodies identified

The bodies of all the passengers on board the helicopter carrying the Iranian president have been identified, IMNA news agency reports.

As noted, Ayatollah Ale-Hashem was alive within an hour after the helicopter crash.

“Ayatollah Ale-Hashem’s body was the only one that was found in a better physical condition than those of the other victims and was the least burned. He lived another hour following the plane crash and even contacted by phone the head of the President’s Office,” the head of Iran’s Crisis Management Agency, Mohammad-Hassan Nami, told IMNA.

The bodies of the other victims, including Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and others, burned, but they could be identified without DNA testing. Eight people in total were killed in the helicopter crash.
