Vyacheslav Volodin, the chairman of the State Duma of Russia, will attend the farewell ceremony of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, killed in a plane crash, TASS writes, referring to its source in the State Duma.
“On Russia’s behalf, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin will be present at the farewell ceremony of Iranian President Raisi,” the source said.
Raisi’s funeral will take place on May 23 in his native city of Mashhad, in the north-east of the country.
