An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale occurred in Mecitözü District of Çorum Province, in the north of Turkey, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reports.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 13.3 kilometers.
As AFAD says, the shock was also felt in the neighboring regions. Official sources have not yet given information on the consequences of the earthquake.
