In the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, a Su-34 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces crashed during a regular scheduled flight; the crew members have died. The aircraft crashed on wasteland; there has been no destruction. The initial cause of the crash is a technical malfunction.
Russia should participate in the peaceful dialogue on the Ukrainian issue, but there is no consensus on when this can happen, the foreign minister of Switzerland said.
Venezuela hopes to join BRICS in 2024, assuming the political position of this organization in building a new world order, the country’s foreign minister said. He noted that the republic “has the largest oil and gas reserves, an enviable geopolitical position, and most importantly, it has a strong political stance that fully matches the principles of BRICS”.
