Mishustin: Armenian citizens will be given the opportunity to open accounts in Russian banks under a simplified procedure

The Russian government is simplifying the procedure for
conducting business in Russia for citizens of a number of countries, including
those of Armenia. A list of 25 countries has been made. The citizens of these
countries and the legal entities registered in these countries will be given
the opportunity to open accounts in Russian banks and to make deposits into
their accounts. Russian President Mikhail Mishustin said this at a meeting with
his deputies.

“The creation of better conditions for foreign enterprises
is an important part of the government’s activities in its way to financial
independence, aimed at achieving the national goal established by our
president,” the Russian prime minister noted.

The list of countries includes Armenia, Algeria, Bahrain,
Belarus, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Qatar,
Kyrgyzstan, China, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mongolia, UAE, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi
Arabia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
