Stoltenberg: We need to provide more weapons to Kyiv for a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian crisis
NATO plans to conduct an annual audit of the military aid provided to Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.
Stoltenberg expects that NATO countries will agree to maintain the basic level of support for Kyiv.
He also said that the summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Washington, scheduled for July 9–11, should decide that weapons worth at least $40 billion should be supplied to Ukraine annually.
According to Stoltenberg, it is necessary to provide more weapons to Kyiv for a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian crisis.
