Canada supports Armenia’s territorial integrity. Canadian
Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly said this today, Oct. 25, at her press conference
in Yerevan.
“We expect that the territorial integrity of Armenia will be
respected. We are attentive in this regard,” she noted and added that for them,
it is important that the principle prohibiting use of force be observed. She
called on the Azerbaijani authorities to respect the right of the Armenian
population to return to their homes.
At the end, Jolie noted that Canada will increase the volume
of aid to the refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh.
