Armenian company on list of organizations facing Japanese sanctions
Japan is imposing new sanctions on dozens of organizations,
including Russian, Armenian, UAE, Syrian and Uzbek ones, RIA Novosti reports,
citing the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.
From Dec. 22, an export ban will come into force against
such Russian companies as the Ural Plant of Civil Aviation, Bryansk Automobile
Plant, Burevestnik Central Scientific Research Institute, the Design Bureau for
Special Machine-Building, Kazan Gunpowder Plant, etc.
A total of 494 Russian companies and organizations have been
put on the list of organizations facing a Japanese export ban.
The list comprised Taco from Armenia, I JET GLOBAL DMCC and
Success Aviation Services FZC from the UAE, I JET GLOBAL DMCC from Syria and
Alpha Beta Creative Industries LLC and GFK Logistic Asia LLC from Uzbekistan.
The ban on these companies starts on Dec. 27.
Taco was registered in Armenia on April 5, 2022, under the
name of Russian citizen V. Verkhovtsev. The company imports and re-exports
Chinese radio electronics to Russia.
