The CEC has declared invalid the registrations of Andranik
Gasparyan, Artak Hovakimyan, Samvel Ghukasyan, Vahe Hakobyan, Mikayel Ohanyan,
Armen Mheryan, Lusine Dayan, Razmik Mkrtchyan, and Roman Hambardzumyan. They
were Council of Elders candidates from the electoral list of the Civil Contract
Party, Armenpress reports.
Dustrik Mkhitaryan and Adrine Avagyan from the Mother
Armenia Alliance have resigned their seats. The seats will be filled by the
candidates next on the electoral list of the Mother Armenia Alliance, namely
Arman Kocharyan and Grigor Iskandaryan.
