Earthquake 6.8 happens in Sea of Okhotsk
An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale occurred in the Sea of Okhotsk, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA).
The earthquake happened at a depth of 490 kilometers. The highest magnitude registered by the tremors was three, according to the seven-point measuring system in Japan.
Tsunami warnings have not been issued.
