US State Department: The U.S. welcomes Turkey playing a productive role in resolving the conflict between Yerevan and Baku

The U.S. welcomes Turkey playing a productive role in
resolving the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Spokesperson for the
U.S. Department of State Matthew Miller said this. 

He noted that Washington, like Ankara, supports direct talks
between Yerevan and Baku to achieve peace.

As Miller said, the U.S. secretary of state and the Turkish
foreign minister discussed this topic in their latest meeting.
