The number of states that have joined the statement on the
grave humanitarian and human rights crisis in Artsakh has reached 40. The
statement was adopted on Oct. 11 at the 54th session of the U.N. Human Rights
Council. Spokesperson for the RA Foreign Ministry Ani Badalyan made an X post
on this.
She quoted a part from the statement, reading: “This massive
displacement of ethnic Armenians from their homes stems from Azerbaijan’s
military operation launched on September 19th and a nine-month long blockage of
the Lachin corridor leading to dire humanitarian conditions.”
