Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs John Bass will travel to Pakistan and Turkey. In Islamabad, Bass will meet with senior officials of the Government of Pakistan to discuss a range of bilateral issues and common regional security challenges. In Ankara, the official will meet with senior Turkish government officials to highlight the strength of the United States-Turkey bilateral relations and discuss the two countries’ efforts to work together to promote peace and stability in the region.
