EU leaders to hold urgent discussion on Trump’s victory
At a summit scheduled for Nov. 7-8 in Budapest, EU leaders will hold an extraordinary discussion on the subsequent actions of the European Union following the victory of Republican Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential elections.
The main topics will be the risks of a new trade war between the EU and the U.S. and Washington’s declining support for Kyiv, a diplomatic source in Brussels told TASS about this.
“Trump’s victory may carry two main risks: the complication of economic relations with the United States, potentially leading to a new trade war, and the possibility of a decrease in military aid to Ukraine,” the source said.
