Polish ambassador summoned to Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry

Michal Grechilo, the temporary chargé d’affaires of Poland in Azerbaijan, has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, it was noted that “despite warnings from the Azerbaijani side, Polish President Andrzej Duda visited the Armenian-Azerbaijani border region and conducted anti-Azerbaijani propaganda with the participation of the EU mission in Armenia.”

It was noted that “this move is a provocation and detrimental to Azerbaijan-Poland relations.”

The Azerbaijani side stated that Duda visited Tigranashen, which they refer to as “Karki”, noting that “it is still occupied.”
