Germany’s and France’s foreign ministers traveling to Syria to meet with country’s new authorities
The foreign ministers of Germany and France are traveling together to Syria on Friday to meet with the country’s new authorities, Reuters writes, citing German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
“Today’s trip with my French colleague, on behalf of the EU, is a clear message to the Syrian people: a new political reference point for Europe and Syria, and possibly for Germany and Syria,” Baerbock stated.
