Macron considers it US’s responsibility to bring Russia to negotiation table

French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that the United States must support other countries in “persuading Russia” to engage in negotiations aimed at resolving the Ukrainian conflict.

Speaking at the Conference of Ambassadors in Paris, Macron addressed the ongoing armed conflict between Kyiv and Moscow.

“The United States must assist us in changing the course of the situation and bringing Russia to the negotiation table,” Macron stated.
