Trudeau: Canada will never become the 51st state of the US

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has declared that the country will never become the 51st state of the United States.

“There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Canada would become part of the United States,” Trudeau wrote on X.

According to him, both countries benefit from being “each other’s biggest trading and security partner.”

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump stated earlier that many Canadians allegedly support the idea of their country becoming the 51st state of the U.S. Trump suggested that such an association would not only bring economic stability to Canada but would also protect it from external threats, which, according to him, come from “Russian and Chinese vessels.”
