European Commission to review Armenia’s EU membership process and discuss with Yerevan

The European Commission intends to analyze the legislative initiative of Armenia’s pro-Western forces regarding the country’s potential accession to the European Union. The Commission also plans to discuss the matter with Yerevan, Lead European Spokeswoman for Foreign Affairs and Security Anitta Hipper said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“We will analyze [the legislative initiative] and discuss it with the Armenian authorities,” Hipper stated.
