Turkey restoring Damascus Airport

A 25-member team sent from Turkey to Syria has already begun work on the reconstruction of Damascus Airport, TRT Haber writes, citing Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.

According to Uraloğlu, Turkey has also delivered various technical assistance to Syria, including 10 X-ray machines and eight handheld metal detectors. He stated that these measures are necessary to strengthen airport security.

Uraloğlu noted that Turkey will continue its efforts to strengthen air communication in Syria.
