Zakharova: Russia welcomes the outcome of peace agreement talks between Baku and Yerevan

The Russian side welcomes the conclusion of negotiations on the draft of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.

“We welcome the completion of negotiations on the draft of the agreement on peace and the establishment of interstate relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia. We support this important step toward achieving a full and comprehensive settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as outlined in the trilateral agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia in 2020-2022,” Zakharova stated.

According to her, Russia is ready to provide a platform for discussions between Azerbaijani and Armenian officials to resolve the full spectrum of bilateral relations and sign a peace agreement.
