Poland recognizes State of Palestine

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has announced that Warsaw recognizes the State of Palestine, RIA Novosti writes.

“Poland respects Israel’s right to exist and the rights of the Palestinian people. Poland recognizes the State of Palestine; we have a [Palestinian] ambassador in Warsaw,” Sikorski stated.

He also added that Poland supports all efforts to halt the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip.
