Russia planning to establish buffer zone along border with Ukraine
A decision has been made in Russia to create a security zone along the border with Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“A decision has been made to establish a necessary security buffer zone along the borders. Our armed forces are currently addressing this issue,” Putin said.
He noted that considering the situation in the Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions, it is necessary to begin the recovery work in the affected areas to help residents return to their homes.
Putin noted that it is also essential to restore all infrastructure and ensure the stable operation of industrial and agricultural enterprises.
