Chairman Robert Menendez, the delegation, led by committee staff members Sarah
Arkin and Damian Murphy, arrived in Armenia.
According to the staff of the Governor of the Syunik
Province, yesterday, accompanied by the Governor of Syunik, the delegation
arrived in Kornidzor village. Robert Ghukasyan presented them with the current
situation, namely the fact that the Lachin corridor is blocked and the movement
in both directions is banned.
The representatives of the U.S. Senate were also presented
with the fact that the convoys of humanitarian aid sent from the RA Government
have been stuck on this side of the border for days on end and cannot reach the
residents of Artsakh.
