Armenia’s Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu in Moscow.
According to Shoigu, the situation in the Caucasus requires constant attention, TASS reports.
“The developments taking place in the Caucasus in general, and in the South Caucasus in particular, demand our continuous attention and consultations,” Shoigu said during the meeting with Grigoryan.
Grigoryan, in turn, said he was “ready to share details” about the situation in the region and thanked Shoigu for the opportunity to meet.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the CIS Security Council Secretaries’ session being held in Moscow today. As part of the event, Shoigu is also scheduled to hold several separate bilateral meetings, including with his Azerbaijani counterpart.
