Meeting discusses issues regarding consequences of blocking Lachin corridor, unblocking of roads and normalization of relations

The tripartite meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol
Pashinyan, President of the European Council Charles Michel and Azerbaijani
President Ilham Aliyev took place in Brussels, the RA Government reports.

 The report reads: “The deepening humanitarian crisis in
Nagorno-Karabakh caused by the illegal blocking of the Lachin corridor by
Azerbaijan, border demarcation between the two countries, border security
arrangements, the unblocking of transport and economic links in the region, the
agreement on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the
need to address the rights and security of the people of Artsakh, as well as
issues regarding POWs, the soldiers missing in action and other humanitarian
issues were discussed during the meeting.

The parties agreed to intensify the work toward addressing
the mentioned issues.”
