A charge has been brought against Garik Galeyan, father of
Mkhitar Galeyan, killed during the 44-day war. Galeyan’s advocate Vahan
Hovhannisyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
Galeyan is charged in connection to the incident that
occurred next to the building of the General Prosecutor’s Office on June 30,
2022.
“No legal action was taken in connection to that case for
more than a year. None of the parents were interrogated. Moreover, after that
incident we presented ourselves at the police station and gave explanations,”
Vahan Hovhannisyan said.
As the advocate noted, at that time when they went to the
police station, it was Garik Galeyan who had bodily injuries. However, it is
him now who is being charged with that case.
