There are discussions and consultations over taking part in Yerevan Council of Elders elections. ARF member Artur Khachatryan said this in his meeting with journalists in the National Assembly.
“We had better consolidate and show that at least Yerevan does not approve of the adopted policy. However, we do have serious worries that all administrative levers will be put to use. I’m sure that we must rally and put up a candidate, who will be able to deliver a clear message. I don’t think that Yerevan elections are ordinary elections. Yerevan is the political center of Armenia, and these elections will, after all, be politicized,” Khachatryan said.
